OP, you started as intended, believe it or not. Same happened to me (-55% of the port) after small-caps crashed in 2022 or something. I pushed through, kept throwing money, stopped buying absolute shit and started buying moderate shit. After 4-ish years I am ahead of SnP, Nasdaq and Rassel 2000 in both MWR and TWR. Will see what happens with my port during the upcoming bubble bust, but facts are facts.

I have another long term port which is basically all the AI stuff, but I don’t talk about that here =) I like beating Ai traders here using dumb stocks like Geo, BJs and Pharma though my last 2 big wins were C3AI and KDK

You're smarter than me, I really did jump in without doing enough research on things like valuations of companies, good stock selection, etc. and got burned fast. It hurts, but I consider myself lucky the lesson I had to learn is relatively small in the greater scope of things, at least compared to the $500k+ lessons some other folks on this sub have gone through. I do plan to port into ETFs with my remaining cash on hand for a while now.

The fact that I’m actually in a position where taking my port to $1M+ by the end of the year if I’m able to replicate even 1/10 of what I’ve already done is actually pretty insane. 90k gains from $500 in less than a month plus I still have another 200k in long term investments giving me a 300kish net worth, and I’m a 25M working in tech making ~150k with the potential for much much more in the future so things are pretty decent at the moment. Actually insane considering that I was a broke grad student 1.5-2 years ago with probably $500 to my name. Gonna do hookers and coke for real if I manage to hit $1M by the end of the year.

That's somewhat true. But it's just a boatload of stock for me, I'm sure a lot of other investors would call my holdings a rounding error in their own port.
