normally I would say great because they absolutely ruined the brand. Deep fried pizza crust is disgusting. But we all know some PE firm will buy it and absolutely destroy it more than YUM! I know a former corporate employee of Taco Bell and they are fucking hurting there too. Taco Bell has been firing corporate staff and finding ways to stretch money further. This is why they started dumping popular menu items, because they did an AI analysis and found that based on cost and demand, what remains makes more money and less overhead. So if you ever wanted to know why they would kill fan favorites, that's why. Some fucking machine said that getting rid of certain items and lost customers would still be a cost savings and more profitable if they kept the basic stuff... Which lost them way more money than they initially thought. Everything under Yum! brands is falling apart because of corporate mismanagement and the fact all the food is fucking garbage and expensive compared to the competition. They're getting fucked in their home market by real mexican food places and Del Taco, which is owned by Jack in the Box, who has been making strides to offer more authentic options to set themselves apart from Taco Bell. Why do I bring up Taco bell? Same story as Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut has heavy competition, the competition is reinventing itself and offering better deals and options while Pizza Hut just keeps raising prices and dropping quality. They gutted their corporate workforce and cut back on driver pay and the amount of people staffing each store. They started there before they did the same thing for Taco Bell.

That's ok, that stock needed to snap back to reality anyway. If I remember correctly before they finally split their stock it climbed to over $3,000 for a single share which put their market cap above a brand like Yum! which owns KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut among others and earns more each quarter. Of course a lot about stocks is based on potential and future growth which you can argue Yum! is close to full saturation, whereas Chipotle has a bit of room to continue growing, I don't know if that really justified the EPS.

taco trucks are kinda hit or miss in my experience outside cali ... i need to go back to cali and do more experiences :D but yeah ... birria is yum!!!
