I know you guys are being sarcastic but I don't see how it isn't for those coming back. Elon did this multiple times and at multiple companies and with multiple divisions. Did the same shit at Twitter where he fired a ton of people but ultimately had to beg for the engineers to return. This is literally what S&P500 companies do except they PAY "HR consulting firms" to do it for them. Elon just fires too many first and then grabs those that they need back. So it's """""""""""""bad""""""""""""" if you're some BS biz/econ major pencil pusher, BS pretty face HR, ass kisser or dick sucker, that PR/SocialMedia zoomie girl who posts on tiktok/IG about all the not-work she isn't doing, those many many talentless bums who leech off the work of actual employees, and/or the lazy bum who posts on reddit instead of working. But if you're the coding engineers at TWTR doing actual work? Or the supercharging team crew who actually does innovative/productive work? Then it's fucking GREAT. The leeches and parasites are removed. Sure some of the folks you liked are gone, but many more of those you didn't are gone too. If you get paid in shares then the dead weight has been removed. And MOST IMPORTANTLY Elon gotta pay you and pay you MORE. You get a rise and not a small one since if they are asking for you back you're getting a rise and a bonus. Your ego must be on the high cloud because YOU ARE HIM and Elon came back begging for you. And if you don't want to work there anymore? Then you get to tell Elon to suck your dick and eat your ass.
