Calling bluff on the Fed not cutting in December. This labor market is already beyond fucked. They can’t go another month of not cutting, it’s honestly suicidal to this economy. Wallstreet will realize this fairly quickly and we’ll rebound. My company is a $5B private company and we’ve done RIF and RIF for 3 years straight. Sure we’re hiring for key roles, but the mouth breathing useless idiots are all being let go. Trimming the Covid fat. This is of course in the name of “A.I.” which is basically companies taking the reins back from the whole “companies can’t find enough talent” during COVID. The pendulum has swung so far back that companies are having employees do 2 or 3 jobs because they have the leverage now (unlike Covid) and they’re using A.I. to cover for this sadistic overreach. Anyone who isn’t a useless idiot at their company and who is tuned in with leadership knows what the fuck is going on.
