Well you said gamble is the main reason,Read up on it they have an edge in aero nobody else has, even spacex can't compete w them, partnership w GE aero, and multiple other companies, they have been in business for 40+ years, only went public this year, got a new CEO recently who is a veteran with getting FAA approval. There only problem is money. Which is a big problem but with their tech, the money should come with FAA approval. Zero G flight testing, pilot training, and their main edge launching small payloads into space, which spacex can't even do. Hypersonic research etc.
