There is no money in the airline biz. American Airlines is almost a nonprofit. Delta leads the pack, and ther net margin is ~2-2.5% and admired in the industry. It’s a ruthless business that depends on business travelers. If we removed business travelers we’re basically all flying some version of Spirit that costs more.
All about perspective. You all see this single truck. Could have been a trailer problem and they are testing the trailer expanded battery pack. Zero emissions on the trailer makes me think this is the trailer test. I see a Tesla semi every morning on the way to work. It's either a Pepsi or the Cheeto one.. they alternate. In sure it's nitch based on route ATM but if it results in profits, they will continue to expand.
None of the discount airlines are actually cheaper if you need it being more than a back pack on your trip. That second item pushed them right up to jet blue prices.
Right? I don't love flying Frontier but you know what you're getting. A cheap seat on a flying bus, no frills. Pack light, follow their rules, and you won't be surprised.
Prison booty story #217 I'd rent out Brody for a pack of cigs. Then trade the pack for some other booty I liked.
You know, if airlines started doing that, I'd actually start checking bag(s) and would be ok with the whole baggage claim hullabaloo. Right now, I just pack my carry-on to the brim with the clothes and stuff I need for a trip instead of paying $50+ *extra* for a checked one.
Now I pack gats, to stop all the snitches
Actually hit a $300 card for a $50 pack last night. Not a recommended, you will lose money. I'm probably still down at least $250 overall
Farewell to J-Pow, the ultimate "Money Printer Go Brrr" legend. As you pack up your printer and head for the exit on May 15, the entire sub salutes you for your service in making our portfolios look like a Jackson Pollock painting—mostly red with occasional splashes of "soft landing" delusion. We’ll never forget the way you’d walk to the podium, whisper the word "transitory," and immediately send the VIX to the moon while our 0DTE calls evaporated into the ether. You were the only man brave enough to hike rates while the economy was screaming in the backseat, all while maintaining that "poker face of doom" that could make a grown bull cry. May your retirement be filled with infinite liquidity and zero "sticky" inflation. We hope you find a hobby that doesn’t involve incinerating our life savings, though we suspect you’ll just be at the casino, staring at the roulette wheel and waiting for the data to become "sufficiently restrictive" before you place a bet. You were the hero we deserved, but definitely not the one our bank accounts needed. Godspeed, you magnificent hawk; we’ll see you in the breadline. Bull r fuk.
Yeah I've never had a bad experience while on the actual flight, but cancellations, delays, missed connections. Pack me up like cattle I don't care, but I need to actually get to my destination.
