So I'm a simple ape with not much knowledge of stock markets and such. But if I'm not mistaken data centers big hurdle to scaling is heat displacement. I have this cacamainey theory that recent interest in Greenland is about more than hemispherical defense and has something to do with access to large amounts of cold fresh water needed for heat displacement in an area that not many humans interact with. So far we have seen some stories about how data centers are eating up local water in small towns and rivers and its making people mad. So why not put them in a place where people aren't, but the temps are cold and there is an abundance of ice. But you didnt ask about Greenland. What else may be good for heat displacement? Maybe the icy vacuum of space? So you take solar power from the sun, turn it into data processing and heat, transmit the data to earth and vent the heat to the universe. Its actually kind of beautiful. No pollution, no people losing water pressure, no buying up land to build ugly neo-brutalist buildings.
