We are def in dotcom style ai hype still. People and media may point it out but money talks and the parabolic fomo surges are real. 'This is clearly a new dotcom bubble...oh wait you can 3x your money so easily with random stocks that promise to pivot to ai? Guess i'll have to buy sum too!'
I mean I have legit like 10 shares just cuz I was curious about them since they've changed the company up. They are working on 6G tech and AI infrastructure. Def do your own DD tho.
Def agree with not ignoring risks and simply playing Devil's advocate here (also, I legitimately want to know), if AMD earnings say they are fully sold out for 2026 and 2027 (unlikely but using an extreme case), wouldn't that indicate demand for overall market is massive? Why would AMD stock go up 10%+ when Intel announces huge gains but then Intel go down when AMD announces huge gains?
Agreed, yea the costs have gotten too crazy. I'm def going to force my kid to apply to any grant/scholarships they can find like a full time job. I did see many high schools are now getting kids to graduate with associates so that will be better. Just dumb how expensive it is for school. I feel like I am never putting in enough, but it will make a big difference not having them graduate with 100k or more in loans and hate life.
Thankfully I had plenty of margin buffer so it didn't constrained me in any way but yes def. If i would've stayed the course and rode SOXL, I would've been retired
