I too rich a 13pro and it's a great service. Pretty sure I'm still on the same battery from purchase. It doesn't last 1.5 days like it used to, but I also make sure to turn off all of the tracking, location services, GPS, and any other superfluous features and limit apps to system resources when not in active use leaving only the apps I need it wasn't notifications for to run in background and it's made it so it'll still cruise through 30-40 hours of normal use without much trouble. I don't need to upgrade, but this whole lightening thing is getting supremely annoying now that many people don't carry them anymore, it's constantly something I need to keep around, and between the airpods and my 13, everything ender in my life is usbc. I'm so over it at this point and as a creative professional, the new video features are finally something I can realistically consider upgrade worthy.

Meta is just an ad revenue god. Shit is an absolute money maker. Haven’t fully monetized ad opportunities on WhatsApp. That shit just makes money. The bear case being wasting money on AI. But in the end they are making ad money hand over fist from their social apps. GOOG because it is a leader in AI and now past the major DOJ issues Both have reasonable PE.

I am in a similar boat as you, my friend. I hoped until the last moment, there would be a surprise mini model. Unfortunately - not. And for the past few years I’ve put some hours trying to deduct why did Apple stop the mini after 2 generations. Obviously it’s for money reasons. But there could be different particular stories for why. Here are my main theories - mini is actually more expensive to make, since they need to cramp similar power into a smaller casing. Yet people are not willing to pay premium for smaller size. - mini is the same or even lower price to produce, but clients are not willing to pay the same money for a smaller device. This opens a dilemma. Does Apple handicap the Mini so it’s smaller, cheaper and weaker, or they remove it from their line - the mini is selling well, they are making money, but mini users on average buy less apps / subscriptions from the App Store. Users of mini devices use it more as a phone. That indirectly hurts Apple revenue - there is pressure from the software industry / smartphone cartel to keep the screen sizes roughly similar, thus making the business for each cartel partner less risky - the branding was wrong - the name “mini” makes people pay less Such ideas have crosses my mind. I am enthusiastic about Mini owners not purchasing much on the App Store, combined with wrong branding.

I think I'm going to upgrade this cycle from my iPhone X - a lot of the apps I use no longer update and thus, don't work anymore. I have a feeling it's going to feel like a massive improvement to me.
