JetBlue won a bidding war against Frontier, which is bad news for Southwest because it means they will have to compete with another large airline. Although Southwest Airlines recently eliminated expiration dates for flight credits, this was not enough to boost stock prices. Also the the inflationary environment is negatively affecting price.

Southwest Airlines Company has been trading between a 52-week high of $56.33 and a 52-week low of $34.36. The stock has a market cap of $22.5 Billion.
